We had our first meal together at the Taste Tickler in 1980 and the sandwiches were delicious. 42 years later the sandwiches are still delicious and some wonderful additions like a Bulgogi and Kimchi Sub!

Decided to try after hearing so many great things and the sandwich was delicious! Potstickers were 9/10 but I personally prefer them crispy so it might be a preference thing. Although they were busy ( I came right at opening) the front counter was very kind and patient:) 10/10 recommend! It was $15 for a sandwich, chips and a side of potstickers

Don't sleep on the teriyaki chicken plate! Or the hot pastrami sandwiches. Or the salami sandwiches. Or pretty much anything. This place is great.

I am so excited to have found this place. Large portions for decent prices and it is very quick. Service is great and the food is delicious. We go here almost weekly now.

This little gem is off broadway near my fav sushi spot. It's a small shop. Everything is made to order. If you don't want sammiches they have bento boxes you could order. Good option for folks who can't agree on one food spot to try. We ordered 3 sammiches in our party. I got avocado, Turkey and bacon. No onions, subbed pepper jack, and add bell peppers. It was delicious. Someone else got a build your own- hot pastrami w cheese. Last person got bulgogi steak. FYI this comes with all the toppings so if you want to keep to Asian flavors, ask them to remove everything you don't want or build your own. I loved my sammich until the last few bites. lol someone put a fat bit of raw onion in my sammich and it blew my whole palate. I tried the bulgogi meat and it was yummy but too salty and sweet for my preference. The person ordering this sammich hates Mayo so they asked if it came with it and asked for no mayo just in case. But didn't realize you get American toppings on it by default. So order without or build your own. Overall loved it. Will definitely come back. lol maybe go to my fav sushi spot and then pick up a sammich to go for later. It was worth the carb cheat meal. I loved the bread my sammich was on. They have glass cases in the entry way filled with random items and a ton of pictures. It keeps you busy while you wait for your food.

The hype is real yall! Huge portions and great reasonable prices! The spicy beef bulgogi is *chefs kiss* and the potstickers are so affordable, you'd be a dope not to take advantage. The place does get busy so be prepared to chill. No indoor seating but they do have some outdoor spots to pull up and nosh. Get that kimchi too for some easy digestion before you gorge yourself on this yummy treat

the ultimate destination for sandwich lovers this asian fusion restaurant prides itself for using artisanal bread that is baked fresh DAILY! from sourdough, to ciabatta, they offer the perfect foundation to the perfect sandwich! i ordered the pepper steak philly sandwich (no mayo, add cream cheese ). they come in 7", 10", or 14"! 10" ended being pretty big, so now i also have dinner!! it was so good! steak is juicy and flavorful! aside from sandwiches they also offer bold teriyaki dishes and bento boxes. from bulgogi, yakisoba, to salads, this place offers a wide variety of foods for your palate ordered using postmates! they got our order correct! we had to have some substitutions for gluten and dairy and they accommodated easily. nothing was missing. i love a restaurant that values in-person and delivery customers!! located in #neportland! don't miss out!

I saw the Taste Tickler and was intrigued. Asian fusion sandwich place!!! I was ready. I was a little confused that the sandwiches, including the famous tickler are a little more traditional. While they do have a few Asian style sandwiches, many are similar to other delis. They do have rice and teriyaki dishes, which I'm told are delicious. The prices here are pretty fair and you get a good amount of food for the price. It can be busy during lunch and you might be waiting outside. Try to order ahead for pickup. I got the famous tickler sandwich. I can't recall the size, but they have three options. It was packed full of meat and I could not finish it in one sitting. This place is worth checking out.

Order: Colossal Combo Sandwich w/ chips and can Pros: the sandwich is huge! It is slightly bigger than Jersey Mikes giant I think. The sandwich is really good and I like that they are not stingy with the meat or the toppings. Service was great. The food is decent!!! Cons: though soft, the bread is super chewy. The other small complaint that I have is that it needs some seasoning or condiments such as a mustard or vinegar. I asked for oil and vinegar but there wasnt any on the sandwich. I ended up adding more to being out the flavor at home.
